If a nofollow tag is added to a link, it will prevent search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN from indexing that link. So after exchanging your blog's link with other blogs, you must check for nofollow tag.

How to check for nofollow tag

First method :

Right click anywhere in your firfox browser and select View Page Source ( Or simply press Ctrl + U ).
Now in source window, press Ctrl + F and search for 'nofollow' . If you can not find nofollow tag, it means that the blog is a dofollow blog .

Second method : It is the easiest method to check for nofollow tags. This method require that you are using Firefox browser.

First install SearchStatus add-on to your Firefox browser.
After installation, restart your browser.
Now you can see a SearcgStatus icon on the status bar. Right click on this icon and click on Highlight Nofollow Links.

Firstly I press the Print Screen key on the keyboard to copy screenshot to clipboard, then open paint to paste screenshot from clipboard to it and finally use Adobe Photoshop to identify html color codes from images. These steps consume a lot of my time.

It happens many times when we send messages and after that notice that we forget to write something important to email or to attach some files. We can't do anything after the mail has been sent. But now Gmail labs has introduced a new feature to undo sent messages in Gmail.

Now you can undo sent messages just after few seconds the mail has been sent.

How to turn on this feature ?

Visit Gmail Labs and there you will see Undo Send tab.
Enable Undo Send and click on Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.

Now you will see a new “Undo” link on every sent mail confirmation. Clicking on “Undo” will take back you right back to compose.

This feature can't pull back an email that's already gone; it just holds your message for 5 seconds so you have a chance to hit the panic button. And don't worry – if you close Gmail or your browser crashes in those few seconds, they'll still send your message.

Google Is Displaying New Ads Based On Popular Queries In India

Today when I accessed my blog, I noticed that Google is displaying ads based on popular queries in India like "Popular Lifestyle Queries in India, Popular Hobbies in India" etc in my sidebar ads. I noticed some other blogs too that are displaying these ads.

I had enabled image and text ads in the sidebar ads section. But now text and image ads are replaced with these new ads. This ad contains 11 links in it.

A search box is also displaying below ad links. The search box is titled as "What are you looking for". It means you can search more queries if your favorite query is not listed in the 11 links.

I don't know the reason behind these ads. May be Google is testing new ads format or there may be any other reason. I can't predict the CPC (Cost per Click) for these ads too as I didn't get any click on these ads today :(

Today I found a very nice site while stumbling called as Textorizer. Textorizer can easily vectorize a picture using text strings.

Textorizer takes a raster image in a format such as png, jpeg or gif, detects edges using a Sobel convolution filter and replaces them with supplied lines of text.

The output from textorizer is in SVG, which can be viewed directly in the Firefox browser or using the Adobe SVG Plugin.

Add Any Application To Right Click Menu Of Folders

Playing with registry is one of my hobby. Today I am going to explain you a nice way to add any application to the right click menu of folders in Windows by editing registry. It might be useful for you as you can open your most frequently used applications just by right clicking on folders. So lets start.

I will add Notepad to right click menu of folders here. You can add any other application that you use most frequently using this method.

First of all open registry editor. To open registry editor press Ctrl+R. Now type regedit in RUN window and press enter.
Now go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Classes -> Folder -> shell.
Right click on shell and make a new Key. You can name it anything. I will name it as notepad.
Now right click on newly created key (notepad) and create a new key value again and name it as command.
Under command key value craete a new String Value by right clicking anywhere under commend key.
Double click on new String Value and change its Value data. If you want to make shortcut to notepad then its Value data will be - C:\Windows\System32\notepad.exe
Close the registry editor. Now right click on any folder to see the changes :)
